Media Cell Officially Opened at IFFK

Honorable Minister for Health and Family Welfare Veena George inaugurated the media cell for 27th IFFK. Media Academy Chairman R.S. Babu presided over the function.

Veena George spoke about the purpose of movies being responsible for spreading stories of humanity. She said that contemporary Malayalam films are getting more acceptance through real life expressions of human life. Movies of same kind are reflected through IFFK. She praised the increase of women directors in this year’s IFFK.

The fest will be a coming together of cinephiles, commented R.S Babu, the chairman of the academy. Premkumar, the vice chairman of the academy also remarked on the achievement of movies showcasing realities in human life.

The event was attended by Academy Vice Chairman Prem Kumar, Secretary of the Chalachithra Academy C. Ajoy, Artistic Director of 27th IFFK Deepika Suseelan, PRD Additional Director K. Abdul Rashid and festival Deputy Director H.Shaji.
